Market Bags for Fun
I have a lot of yarn. For a whole week I spent every idle moment searching “yarn” through Facebook marketplace to find someone trying to purge their yarn stash. I decided I should make good use of them.
Dollies look outdated, I don’t need lace gloves, tops kind of take a while… So I searched through Ravelry to see what kind of patterns are there. Excluding the ones I just listed.

Materials
3mm crochet hook
Bernat Handicrafter Crochet Cotton, Size 10, Color Ecru
I came across this free pattern and I thought it was perfect for crocheting while watching something else. The pattern is pretty mindless, since after the first few rows of increases you just have to keep doing the same thing for a couple dozen more rows. It takes about half a day of just crocheting to complete a market bag. Since I used Instagram stories to document my crochet, the quality is a little bad but its basically done in the round like this:
The safety pin is currently what I use to mark the beginning of the round. I made a few so far but I plan to use up all my thrifted crochet yarn.
